Case modding is the modification of a PC chassis. Modding a computer-case in any non-standard way is considered a casemod. Many people, including hardware fans, use mods to illustrate a pc's power, and for visual appeal. Modified pcs are often encountered at gamer competitions where their owners display them. Modding is also about self expression and showing what you as the modder can do, some mods are designed around a vision.
